Prayers Answered
Stacy flew home from Illinois Wednesday. She went to the doctor early Thursday morning. This doctor found that while the infection was severe, it was not in the bone. Over the past few days, we have seen the infected area turn pink with new skin! We are rejoicing in the Lord for His healing! God has answered our prayers, and many of yours. Thank you so much for your kindness to our family.
Today marked the first day in four weeks that we were able to worship at our home church. While we certainly enjoyed our time of travel, meeting new friends and seeing new sites, it was a blessing to return to the familiar surroundings of Katy, Texas. Our worship today was a joyful experience!
We will return to the road in a few weeks when we will head to Missouri to keynote the state homeschool convention. Stacy's foot should be completely healed by that time!

So happy to hear that Stacy is feeling better! Our family was praying for yours. The poem that she wrote is beautiful and I am sure that it blessed many of the mom's at your church.
I have enjoyed your websites for years, and I enjoyed your wife's e-mail list for a long time as well.

Hi James and Stacy,
We just got the news about Stacy's infection today (May 22) and were relieved to read this entry that she is being healed -- thank the Lord!
We are the family of almost-11 that you met at the Convention in NH (you and my husband, Brian, spoke at length about homeschooling, politics, and the state of the church in our country today.)
We greatly appreciated your message and testimony and we went home encouraged and revived in our homeschooling and church family endeavors!
Thanks for sharing your beautiful family with us and we're happy you all made it home safe and sound. We hope to see you again up here someday!

I am so glad to hear that Stacy's foot is healing! What an answer to a prayer. It sounded so bad when we got the e-mail about her up in IL. We just moved near your home area and hope to come down to enjoy the store, if it's still open (I haven't checked in a while, since we were never close enough to come).
By the way, those trackback pings up at the top of the comments page are vile! I hope there's a way you can remove them.
