Build a simple birdfeeder.
Attract birds to your yard and garden for year-round enjoyment by
making a simple bird feeder with a plastic milk jug. Use a
utility knife to cut a window out of the jug about two inches up
from the bottom. Poke several small holes in the bottom for
drainage. Add a small stick below the window for a perch for
birds to stand on.
In addition to putting seed in feeders, drop several handfuls of
seed on the ground for the ground feeding birds.
To make special bird treats, gather large pinecones, roll the
cones in honey or peanut butter and then shake them in a bag full
of birdseed.
Make Valentines with your children.

And there we saw the men and boys as thick as hasty pudding

Mind the music and the step, and with the girls be handy.
